Project Description

Defend the Dam was the second major release out of the Dragon Army game studio. You play as a beaver defending him dam from brainwashed woodland creatures by building different weapons to combat different enemy types.

Simple but engaging.

The core mechanics of Defend the Dam are based off of traditional lane defense games like Plants vs. Zombies. In our version, we allow the player to rotate the weapons to allow for more strategic and adaptable gameplay.

3 Zones. 30 Levels.

Each zone offers unique terrain, enemies and a challenging boss like Sarge (the bear), Rowdy (the buffalo), and Talon (the eagle).

Upgrade your skills.

Each weapon has a skill tree that can be used to customize thigs like damage, range, and reload speed as well as unique skills like firing more projectiles or increased chance to stun enemies.

Boss fights.

Each zone culminates in a challenging boss fight. Bosses have unique mechanics that challenge the player to react quickly and utilize the skills they’ve learned along the way.

Increase the difficulty.

If you’re ready for even harder gameplay, replay each level on Normal, Heroic, Master or Challenge Modes. Challenge Mode allows you to modify your game to make it much more challenging (like the skulls from Halo) but increase the amount of XP you earn for completing the level.
