Project Description
The Parent Cue app, combined with a custom CMS, simplifies the process of providing faith-based opportunities for parents to connect with their children. The organization needed a complete overhaul of the whole customer experience, which would entail an easier way for churches to upload content and a more engaging interface for parents of kids ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. We reinvented the mobile experience from the back-end, out.
An aligned aesthetic.
Parent Cue already had a well established brand aesthetic so it was our job to create a design system that appended naturally to the existing style. Though a few iterations, we landed on a style that felt true to Parent Cue and created custom illustrations which were extremely important to the client.
Clean and elegant.
We worked closely with the client’s internal design team to make sure that our designs were aligned with where they wanted to push the brand. We went with a type-forward design, lots of negative space, and high contrast to create a sense of openness and simplicity.
Easy to update.
On top of an easy to use mobile app, the client needed help with designing a CMS to support the enormous amount of content to be delivered in the app.
