Overview
Flipit, a mattress brand focused on extending mattress life through frequent flipping and rotating, approached Dragon Army to create a short, impactful video. The video aimed to communicate Flipit’s unique value, setting it apart in a competitive market. The goal was to create a concise, digestible video to support a marketing campaign that highlights Flipit’s differentiation and value-driven product.
Challenges
The primary challenge was crafting a clear, compelling video message that effectively conveyed Flipit’s unique benefits. We needed to translate their web and social media messaging into a polished video format that would educate viewers on the brand’s advantages and inspire conversion. Ensuring consistency in messaging and a smooth user experience within a 30-second timeframe was key.
Solution
We began by storyboarding a video flow focused on clear messaging and competitor differentiation. To maintain consistency with Flipit’s brand, we highlighted key product benefits and targeted a video length of 30 seconds or less. Gentle motion effects and a comforting soundtrack were added to guide viewers, creating an inviting, informative experience.
Delight
To bring Flipit’s story to life, we animated their static design elements and used negative space from interior design photography, allowing key messaging to stand out. This subtle animation approach gave the brand a fresh, dynamic feel and kept viewers engaged.
Conclusion
The final product was a beautifully polished, on-brand video that elevated Flipit’s motion design standards and provided a guiding visual direction for future content. This video not only resonated with Flipit’s audience but also set a new benchmark for the brand’s marketing aesthetics.
